This coastal town in the Horta Nord region is one of the smallest in the area. Around its church, dedicated to San Lorenzo, traditional life goes on as it has for decades. A short distance away, on the other side of the train track and the motorway, is the coastline, a good spot for fishing. The beach is a quiet one, not just because of its rustic nature, but also because of the volume of traffic and the proximity of the motorway.
