JARDÍ DEL RIU (GARDEN OF THE RIVER)

The river is the backbone of the whole of La Baronia and in Albalat it represents a natural limit to urban growth towards the south, but at the same time it acts as a link between the historic centre and La Calderona. The creation of the Jardí del Riu was a way of creating a continuity between the urban area and the river, creating the largest green space in the town and connecting the Pont de Mascarós bridge with the Pla del Molí on the side closest to the river, and joining the garden area to the cultural activities area by means of the stage.
