Rice Museum of Valencia

Museums ( València )

To talk about rice in Valencia is not only to talk about paella and gastronomical fashions.
Rice in Valencia as we know it today, and all the processes that determine its production and preparation, are thel result of years of cultivation in our lands.
Since it was planted in the wetlands that the Arabs called in the 8th century A.D. until today, rice has gone through different stages, some more glorious than others, but with each one, rice has been able to sink its roots deeper and deeper in the history of our city.
The Rice Museum of the City of Valencia offers us a place where we can keep alive and recover its tradition. A place where you can get to know its transcendence and, why not, become part of its history.
