PLA DEL MOLÍ

The origins of the village are to be found in a Roman villa, which is located in front of the Palau Senyorial. The Pla del Molí is the most important entrance to the town.
Nowadays, it has the old Municipal Washing Place (Llavaner Municipal). The drainer and the back of the washbasin have been lost. Behind the Casetes del Castell is the Torn de la Séquia Major which gave access to the water from the washbasin. As lost elements it is also worth mentioning the Municipal, (buried underneath the Town Hall), we only keep the Cantarer.
