Museu de la Rajoleria of Paiporta

The Museu de la Rajoleria is located in the old brick and tile factory El Pilar, better known in Paiporta as theRajolar de Bauset.The 12-door Hoffmann kiln, where the permanent exhibition is located, shows the history of the factory, as well as the factory’s production processes. The museum works day by day in the recovery of our ethnological heritage, at the same time that it tries to dynamise the culture of our municipality. For this reason, it has: a stable programme of activities, guided visits to the temporary and permanent exhibitions, a photographic archive of the municipality, educational workshops for all types of public, etc. Over the years, the infraestructures have been improved with an adjoining room and a completely remodelled open-air space. The Rajolar de Bauset has ceased to be a factory as such to become a factory of culture, the Museu de la Rajoleria of Paiporta.
