Municipal Museum of Requena
Museums ( Requena - Utiel - Requena )
The Municipal Museum of Requena is located in the former Convent of El Carmen. It currently houses the ethnology, archaeology and natural sciences sections.
In the ethnology sections we find the rooms dedicated to: “Traditional clothing in the field of Requena-Utiel. 1789-1914”, “On housing and the domestic” and “Stuffing in Requena”. In the archaeological sections we can see “The Iberian culture in the region of Requena-Utiel”, “Daily life and Roman funerary world in the region” and “The treasure of the Ferrer de Plegamans family”. The museum is complemented by the Natural Science Room, where we can learn about the “Ecosystems of the Region” and its “Geology”
Tuesday to Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Ticket cost: Normal ticket: 2 ,; reduced ticket: 1.50 (retired people, pensioners, carné joven, long-term unemployed and numerous family); free for the under 18
