Hermitage Sant Vicent Ferrer

Monuments ( Agullent )

From the Font Jordana, a climb through cypress trees leads to this sanctuary, located at the foot of the Agullent mountain range. Built in the 18th century, the hermitage has next to it an exercise house, a hostel and a home catering space. The dedication to San Vicent Ferrer takes on a special significance in Agullent, as he not only visited these lands during his lifetime, but in 1600 he was also responsible for freeing the locals from the plague, as it has been traditionally narrated.
