One of the most traditional springs in the municipality as it is located in an area where the Cañada Real de la Mancha (La Mancha Royal Cattle Track) passes through and where the old Roman road from Iniesta to Requena and the Senda de los Arrieros (Muleteers’ Path) used to run. It had a small spring that flowed from a pipe next to a small grotto. The adjacent pond has always been full. The adjacent pond was used to irrigate the adjacent vegetable gardens, and at the beginning of the 21st century a watering trough was built nearby.
