Fornet de la Neu

A recently restored and visitable small well, it is a testimony to an economic activity that is now extinct: the snow trade. Topped with a vault, it is listed as one of the 137 caves registered in the Southern Baetic sector. Its activity was strictly local, and it was not involved in large-scale trading. According to the official chronicler of Agullent, the kiln was already built at the end of the 16th century, as the municipal documentation contains the request.
