EL PALAU (THE PALACE)

This is a powerful building dating from the 14th or 15th century, although it has undergone restoration work, it retains the hallmarks of noble construction and some of the defensive elements, such as the embattled towers. It has a half-terrace with a large number of ogival and half-timbered arches made of blue limestone, and three floors with all the rooms of a noble house (knights’ quarters, stables, noble living room and bedrooms) and the old municipal dungeon. It has belonged to the Baixauli family since 1897.
