Cistern

Located in the old quarter, it is of Arab origin and dates back to the 15th century. It is a restored structure that can be visited and has a single underground nave, divided into 3 interconnected compartments, with a vaulted roof.
The cistern was a source of water supply, coming from the river Turia through the irrigation canal known as Sequieta dels Horts; it filled the compartments and provided water to the inhabitants of the municipality until the third part of the 20th century.
