CHURCH SANTA CATALINA MÁRTIR

It is located almost in the centre of the town; it is of good architecture and of Doric order, it was finished in 1689; it has seven chapels with ten altarpieces or altars, in addition to the main altar which is regular. Until the aforementioned year 1689, when the church was consecrated, the old mosque that occupied the highest part of the town, near the now demolished castle, which is still preserved, although it is used for secular purposes, was used for worship.
