Ceramics Museum of the Castle

Museums ( Riba-Roja de Túria )

The Ceramics Museum of the Castle of Riba-roja de Túria -MUCA- is located in the Castle of Riba-roja de Túria.
It houses a collection of ceramic pieces from the medieval period (14th, 15th and 16th centuries), recovered during the archaeological excavations carried out in the Castle and which belong to the domestic furnishing of its inhabitants and the decoration and architecture of the building. This small museum invites us to discover the history of the Castle: its architectural evolution, use and craft activities developed in this building from the 11th century until the 20th century. You will find unique pieces such as a chamber pot, beautifully decorated socarrats and large jars for storing oil.
This museum is accessible for people with reduced mobility (lift and ramas) and has adapted toilets.
Free admission.
