Castle

Monuments ( Bétera )

A BIC building of Muslim origin, it presides over the village from its privileged location. It was completely refurbished in the eighties of the last century, and has recently been restored to recover its original appearance. It condenses and symbolises a large part of the history of Bétera, built in successive stages after the conquest of James I. Its exterior is crowned with battlements, with corner towers, a fortified access ramp and semicircular arcades typical of Valencian Gothic.
