Casa de les Comportes (House of the Gates)

It was built in 1732 to house the two gates, which, when raised, allowed the water from the Xúquer River to flow into the Royal Irrigation canal. In 1781 a third one was added. In the upper part of the house there is a kind of gallery or viewpoint where a flag was placed on a high pole that served as a sign for the farm workers to start and finish their work.
