Benissanó castle

The castle of Benissanó, in the town of the same name, is one of the best-preserved castles in the Valencian Community. It was built in the second half of the 15th century on the site of an old Arab farmhouse called Benixanut, thanks to the wishes of the Cavanilles y Villarrasa family, lords of Benissanó.
