’Ruta de la Calç’

Fontanars dels Alforins is known for being one of the last places to produce lime in the traditional way. The end of a centuries-old tradition has left the remains of more than fifty kilns scattered throughout the town.
Taking advantage of this rediscovered legacy, ‘La Ruta de la Cal’ was designed, a proposal of five itineraries (for hiking and/or cycling) that allow you to discover this cultural, industrial and architectural heritage
