CALVARI-ERMITA DEL SANTÍSIMO CRISTO DE LA AGONIA (HERMITAGE OF THE MOST HOLY CHRIST OF AGONY)

El Calvari de Potries is made up of a group of houses with a solid slab that line the side of the cypresses that flank the cobbled path leading up to the chapel.
The chapel reproduces, on a small scale, the Neoclassical architectural models of the first half of the 19th century, following the premises dictated by the Academy of Sant Carles de València. Work began in 1854, the year in which, according to tradition, the intercession of Christ saved the population from an outbreak of cholera.
