El Arte – MUMAF Building

Known as ‘El Arte’, it was the factory of the potter Juan Bautista Huerta Aviñó. This façade, built in 1922, is notable for the tiles painted in gold and cobalt blue on a white background, as well as the trencadís plinth. In 1924, a second body was added on the right with Hispano-Arabic-style decoration inspired by the plasterwork of the Alhambra. This building houses the MUMAF – Manises Museum Collection of Photography.
