Monuments ( L´Olleria )

Year of construction: Between the 18th and 19th centuries
Architectural style: Valencian late 18th century

The Casa Santonja, formerly the Palau del Marau, is a building declared an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC), more than 200 years old and the only building in the town with a noble coat of arms. It represents the enlightened and liberal nobility that was the centre of power in its time (19th century). Proof of this are the important mural paintings full of iconography.
