IGLESIA SAN JUAN BAUTISTA (SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH)

Its façade follows the model inspired by the church of Il Gesù in Rome by the Jesuits of the time. It is a Baroque altarpiece-façade, so called because of the distribution of the images and decorative elements. It has two pairs of Tuscan pilasters above which rises a segmental pediment that shelters the niche in which the patron saint of the parish, Saint John the Baptist, is located.
