River Reatillo

The river Reatillo, the main tributary of the Turia on its right bank, is a modest mountain course subject to the Mediterranean rainfall regime with rapid and violent floods caused by torrential rains, alternating with strong low water levels that leave the river dry. Its flow is regulated by the Buseo reservoir and, as most of its course runs through uninhabited areas, its waters are clean and clear.
