MEDIEVAL CISTERN
Monuments ( Castelló de Rugat )
A beautiful mediaeval cistern is preserved in the square in carrer de l’Ermita. A typical construction of Islamic architecture, it was used to store the water that came down from the Sant Antoni reservoir during the rainy season.
