Parish church of La Purísima Concepción

Monuments ( Calles )

It is an 18th century temple that stands majestically among the narrow streets.
It probably used to be a mosque, with what is now the façade of the church facing Mecca.
When the Mudejars became Moors, the mosque became a church, maintaining the same physiognomy and in 1664 it obtained perpetual vicarage, inaugurating the new Baroque church in June 1724. The bell tower is made of masonry and brick and the interior consists of a nave with three side chapels.
