’Catxerulos d’El Perigall’

Other places of interest ( Bétera )

An example of an abundant traditional building in Bétera, which was used as a rural shelter for the night and is listed as a BRL, built using the dry-stone technique. They do not have doors, windows, chimneys or interior divisions, and are usually oriented towards the south or east, in order to avoid the cold winter wind or the heat of the west in summer. This pair, in particular, have a ring or circular floor plan and were apparently used to keep livestock.
