Oppidum ‘El Tos Pelat’

Monuments ( Bétera )

Iberian site, with an approximate surface area of 3 ha, shared with the town of Moncada, inhabited from the 6th to the 4th century BC, where we can see part of the urban structure of the city, streets and dwellings that exceeded 150 m2. The city was protected by a walled defensive system, with turreted gates and towers attached to the walls. Its main economic activities were agriculture, livestock farming, hunting and trade.
