PLAÇA DE BAIX

The Plaça de Baix is located in the centre. The church and the Palau to the south-west, as well as the Old Town Hall, frame the area of the three powers; noble, religious and civil. The town grows in an octagonal shape with the streets of Sant Vicent, Llarg and del Mig, which are joined to the Plaça de Baix by three other perpendicular streets (Estret, del Racó and de la Pau).
The façade of the Fàbrica de Pintes stands out, which was used by the ox’s horn to make clothes and by the main canal to wash the dyes.
