Chirivella Soriano Foundation of the Valencian Community

The Chirivella Soriano Foundation was inaugurated in April 2005 with the aim of making available to the public one of the most renowned collections of contemporary Spanish painting and, at the same time, to create a plural space where temporary exhibitions, conferences and other activities can be held. Through the refurbishment of what is now our headquarters, the Joan Valeriola Palace, dating from the 14th century, it has been possible to rescue an important piece of Valencian civil Gothic. Converted into an art centre, the Palau offers the ideal setting to enjoy contemporary art in clear contrast with the surroundings of the most historic Valencia.
