The Archaeological Museum of Gandia, located in the Gothic building of the medieval Hospital of San Marcos, is the main institution for the conservation and dissemination of the history of the region of la Safor, and currently it has two major permanent exhibitions: the first dedicated to prehistory, divided between the hall of the hunter-gatherer societies and the first producer groups, and the second dedicated to the Iberian and Roman world, divided into four halls where different aspects of life and death in the rural world during antiquity are addressed. It also has a varied programme of cultural activities and temporary exhibitions.
Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m./ Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
