To the north, the municipality borders with Picassent, Real de Montroi and Montserrat de Alcalá, to the south with Alfarb and Catadau, to the east with Picassent and Alfarb, and to the west with Dos Aigües. It lies 28.8km from Valencia.

Gastronomy:

The most notable local dishes include baked rice, paella and stew.

Places of interest:

The parish church of the Holy Cross was founded in 1329, appointed the vicars of Catadau and Alfarb and was dedicated to Saint John. The temple, cloister, tower, and basements have recently been restored. There is also a bronze statue of Saint Francis Borgia at the church door. Created by Rausell (1968), it is a copy of the original, located in the installations of the Valencia Provincial Council. Another interesting site is the “Maravillas” Cave, which contains stalactites and stalagmites.

Festivities:

In August, festivities are held in honour of Saint Francis Borgia. The “Fiesta de la Sang” is held on the second Wednesday in July. Festivities in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary, the patron saint of Llombai, are held on the first Sunday in October.
