Renachar

Calles is a village intimately linked to its river, and in Calles we can enjoy the star tradition of the summers in the village which is Renachar, this curious word of which we do not know its origin defines the action of walking through the interior of the river. As it is a river with very little water level, the population and visitors enjoy refreshing themselves by walking along its interior. Sometimes people make ‘pozas’ (pools) where they raise the water level a few centimetres in order to submerge themselves.
