The City of Arts and Sciences
A Leisure and Culture Centre designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava, it comprises six imposing buildings: The Principe Felipe Science Museum, the most visited museum in the city, l’ Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe where every ecosystem in the world is represented, the Hemisfèric, one of the few spaces in Spain that broadcast films in IMAX format, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, the city's Opera House. The Úmbracle garden (which has a popular nightclub) and the Agora multipurpose building complete this futuristic architectural complex that in a few years has become a symbol and image of the city.
