Eat rice in Sueca
Although most towns in València have a long tradition rice-cooking, Sueca is par excellence “the town of rice”. Most of its economy is sustained by the cultivation of rice. Sueca is also home to the International Valencian Paella Contest with more than 50 years of history.
Any of the coastal districts of the town such as El Perelló, El Mareny de Barraquetes, Les Palmeres or Sueca itself would be an excellent choice to enjoy the authentic Valencian Paella. Another place to eat any variety of rice dishes that are prepared in València is the town of Cullera.
