Covetes dels Moros
Bocairent is one of the most beautiful towns in the entire Province. Of Muslim origin, its peculiar beehive-shaped structure, with many of its dwellings carved into the rock, and its wonderful location in the Sierra de Mariola give it an unquestionable appeal.
Especially recommended are the “Covetes dels Moros”, a network of caves that are believed to have been used as granaries in the El Andalus period (probably 10th-11th centuries).
