Puerto de Sagunto Beach

Puerto de Sagunto beach, some 1300m of fine sand, lies north of the port that serves as protection against southerly winds. It is surrounded by an area containing dunes that are firmly held in place by vegetation and reeds that create a very attractive backdrop.

It has a modern promenade with numerous restaurants and cafes. In summer, temporary facilities offer windsurf board rentals and, at sunset, music in pubs and bars invites you to enjoy the warm night. It has an accessible beach service or barrier-free beach, which allows people with physical disabilities to access the beach- and Bibliomar – library service on beaches – during the summer. It has the “Blue Flag of Europe” distinction for the quality of bathing water and sanitary, recreational and safety services.

This beach has the following certifications: ISO 14001 Environmental Compliance Standard, ISO 9001: Company Standard Registered with Quality Management System, UNE 170001 Universal Accessibility Standard, UNE 187001. Q Tourism Quality. EMAS, European Environmental Regulation. Blue Flag of Europe and Q de Qualitur de la Consellería de Turismo in recognition of the management made in terms of beaches.
