PROTECTED NATURAL LANDSCAPE OF THE RIVER SERPIS

The Serpis river has always been an environment closely linked to the town. It is a protected natural area, a unique space for its landscape, ecological and cultural values, derived from a harmonious historical relationship between man and nature.
In one of its meanders there is a marvellous area free of canes, known as the ‘Potries beach’, where the local people enjoy the clear and transparent waters of the Serpis, and its mini-Library ‘Llibres lliures al Serpis’ (Free Books in the Serpis).
