TORRE DE GUAITA
Monuments ( Xeraco )
It was ordered to be built by the Duke of Gandia in the middle of the 16th century due to the pirate attacks that the Kingdom of Valencia suffered during this time, with the mission of defending the Duke’s private properties. It is one of the emblems of Xeraco. It is located on the right bank of the river Vaca, in an area known as Poza, the part where the river reaches its widest and deepest level. It is about two kilometres from the straight line of the beach.
