Monuments ( Puçol )
Puçol, then called puteus (well), was already known in Roman times, due to the large amount of water in the area.
In the Muslim period it was a farmhouse of Puig. Two monuments are preserved from this period: the Molí de Vent and the Torre Talaia or turret.
Reconquered by Jaume I, it was donated to Assalid de Gudal.
From the Christian era, you can visit the wall of the old archiepiscopal orchard, where the botanist Cavanilles introduced the peanut to Europe, and the Church of Santos Juanes (1607).
