Fuerte de las Pedrizas

At the top of the mountain we find the Fuerte de las Pedrizas. It was built in November 1609. It was here where the ascent of the army of the Tercio de Lombardía took place, with thousands of soldiers at the front and led by the leader of the movement, Don Juan Pacheco. This battle led to the expulsion of the Moors from the Muslim farmsteads of Bicorp and Benedriz, which were dominated by Al-Ben-Bucar. Recently rebuilt.
