Ethnological Museum
Museums ( Benaguasil )
Located in the old municipal slaughterhouse, a 19th century building recognised by the Generalitat Valenciana as”Permanent Museum Exhibition”. The museum houses one of the earliest museum collections in the province of Valencia and pioneer in the Camp del Túria region.
Inside, on the same floor there is a large collection of objects used by our ancestors in their work in the fields, a representative collection of the production and packaging of onions, the economic engine of the time in Benaguasil. Pieces and fragments of Iberian pottery found in Tossal de Montiel, as well as remains from the Muslim period such as pottery, crockery and objects from the period. Exhibition commemorating our Patron Saint Our Lady of Montiel and a large number of antique objects donated by the residents of Benaguasil from what were once their trades.
