The MetroValència network covers the city of València and its metropolitan area, serving 36 towns and boroughs with its 9 lines (6 Metro and 3 Tram lines).

By bus

A number of bus and coach lines join the main towns of València to national and international destinations.
As well as València, many tourist destinations, such as Sagunt, Gandía and Cullera have direct coaches to Madrid, Barcelona and Zaragoza.

By train

València is connected to the main Spanish cities by an extensive rail network. A number of trains a day link València with Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante and Seville.
The High-Speed train has cut the journey time to Madrid to 1 hour 30 minutes, and to Seville to under 4 hours.

By boat

There are ferries connecting the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca) with València.
