River Cabriel

The river Cabriel can boast of being the river with the best water quality in Europe. In its clean waters live the barbel, the rainbow trout (introduced), the common trout, as well as the otter. The orography of the territory it crosses, from its source to Cofrentes, is spectacular, highlighting the Cuchillos and the Hoces del Cabriel, where rafting and white-water canoeing can be practised during the release period of the Contreras reservoir.
