El Morrón: rock, viewpoint and caves

El Morrón is a geological and scenic feature that makes Sot de Chera a very unique town: it is a rocky promontory, which offers a viewpoint (the Mirador del Morrón) with stunning panoramic views of the entire Valley of Sot de Chera, the Valle de la Alegría. It is 548 metres above sea level and can be reached via the hiking route La higuerilla, which is suitable for all the family. El Morrón hides two caves underneath, the Cuevas del Morrón. They are worth a visit.
