Llavador (Washing place)

Monuments ( Villalonga )

It forms part of La Safor’s hydraulic heritage. It was built in 1944. It has two water channels separated by a central corridor with two stone basins on each side, 16m long and 1.20m wide. The floor of the central corridor is paved with mud bricks. The water comes from the ‘Font de Setze Xorros’ and has a water drainage structure. Typical Valencian ceramic ornamental elements (trencadís) have been incorporated.
