ESTIVELLA BRIDGE (END OF THE 18TH CENTURY)

Monuments ( Estivella )

In 1791, under the direction of the prestigious Valencian architect Vicent Gascó, the construction of the Estivella bridge began in 1792. Located at the entrance to the town centre, it was the largest bridge in the whole of the Aragon road. Nowadays it is also the oldest. In his work, J.B. Cabanilles emphasises its existence. The bridge is structured in three 8.30 m high arches. It has a total length of 90 m and a maximum height above ground of 11 m.
