It is located in the Salt de l'Aigua ravine and its function was to overcome the unevenness of the ravine in order to carry water from the Quart irrigation canal to the neighbouring towns. Its origin has not been determined, although various historians attribute a Roman origin to it.\nIt has 28 arches with stalactites that have been shaped by continuous filtrations.
