It is part of Sagunt's S\u00e9quia Major. Its mission is to bring the water through the irregular plain of Pal\u00e0ncia, and for it to reach the town of Albalat dels Tarongers. The current construction dates from after 1581. It is the work of the village labourer Joan Salvador and the stonemason Joan As\u00f3.
