Siete Aguas, located just 52 km. from the city of Valencia, is a village steeped in history and traditions. It has a rich artistic and environmental heritage. Gastronomy:<\/h4>\r\nDue to its geographical position on the border between Valencia and Castile, Siete Aguas retains a unique culinary tradition influenced by both the Valencian and the Castilian gastronomies.\r\n\r\nAll the local restaurants offer typical dishes such as stews, casseroles, \u201cgazpacho manchego\u201d, as well as \u201cajoarriero\u201d, \u201cmorteruelo\u201d, \u201crin ran\u201d and \u201csartenes de pastor\u201d.\r\n\r\nMention may also be made of a traditional drink, a variant of Sangria known as Cuerva. Nor can we forget the traditional \u201corza\u201d cured sausages and meats.\r\n

Places of interest:<\/h4>\r\nThe 109 square kilometres of the municipality of Siete Aguas are a good location for enjoying numerous routes and walks.\r\n\r\nAmong its variety of landscapes and sites, we can go from the village centre\u2019s altitude of 750 m. to the 1,118 m. of \u201cEl Pico de la Nervera\u201d, located in the heart of the Sierra de Malacara range, or to the 1,250 m. of the neighbouring \u201cPico del Tejo\u201d.\r\n\r\nWe can also stroll among its more than 100 springs. To visit the springs nearest to the village, we can take the \u201cRoute of the Springs\u201d, which passes by \u201cLa Fuente del Retiro\u201d, \u201cLa Tejer\u00eda\u201d, \u201cLa Gota\u201d and \u201cEl Pap\u00e1n\u201d, among many others. Just a few kilometres from the village centre we can visit the grandeur of \u201cLa Vallesa\u201d.\r\n\r\nThe wild vegetation of \u201cLa Umbria del Fresnal-Villingordo\u201d, which conserves an extensive variety of threatened wildlife, such as badgers, bobcats, foxes, eagles, squirrels, hedgehogs, and ibexes, among many other game species. There are many possibilities for excursions, such as the routes leading from \u201cla Farnera\u201d to \u201cMonedi\u201d and from \u201cel Leonar\u201d to \u201clas Arravacas\u201d, and from there to \u201cla Vallesa\u201d.\r\n\r\nAnother attractive route takes us via \u201cRayd\u00f3n\u201d and \u201cMazalv\u00ed\u201d to \u201cAtalayuela\u201d.
