Gastronomy:<\/h4>\r\nThe village\u2019s most typical dishes are paella and stews made with lamb, pork and vegetables: \u201cL\u2019arr\u00f2s amb bledes\u201d (rice with chards), \u201cL\u2019arr\u00f3s amb fesols i naps\u201d (rice with beans and turnip) and rice with vegetables. The most noteworthy sweet dishes include sweet potato cakes, shortbreads, anise rolls, Danish-type dough cakes and pumpkin cakes.\r\n

Places of interest:<\/h4>\r\nNear the village we find \u201cLa Font\u201d, a large spring which provides irrigation water for all the municipalities of Vall del Seg\u00f3. It is currently used as a recreational site, where visitors spend the day enjoying this natural setting. The most emblematic monument is the parish church of Saint Michael, which was built in the 18th-century using the structure of an ancient monastery in ruins. Other representative buildings include the Town Hall, the municipal lavoir, the Hermitage of Christ, the Chapel of Our Lady of the Village and the Culture Centre, declared a National Historic Artistic Monument by virtue of its location in a 17th-century church.\r\n

Festivities:<\/h4>\r\nThe village\u2019s festivities are held during the third week of September. During the festival week, bull-running is combined with musical performances and religious celebrations, dedicated to the patron saints of the village: the Virgin Mary and Saint Michael the Archangel.
