Gastronomy:<\/h4>\r\nThe most notable local dishes include baked rice, paella and stew.\r\n

Places of interest:<\/h4>\r\nThe parish church of the Holy Cross was founded in 1329, appointed the vicars of Catadau and Alfarb and was dedicated to Saint John. The temple, cloister, tower, and basements have recently been restored. There is also a bronze statue of Saint Francis Borgia at the church door. Created by Rausell (1968), it is a copy of the original, located in the installations of the Valencia Provincial Council. Another interesting site is the \u201cMaravillas\u201d Cave, which contains stalactites and stalagmites.\r\n

Festivities:<\/h4>\r\nIn August, festivities are held in honour of Saint Francis Borgia. The \u201cFiesta de la Sang\u201d is held on the second Wednesday in July.
